Mercy Corps Indonesia is working with Commonwealth Bank and the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth to help small businesses obtain business development support through free business mentoring facilities. Additionally, MicroMentor Indonesia’s program target to create 35,000 engagements is measured by 1) entrepreneurs accessing digital training content (with a focus on cybersecurity), 2) entrepreneurs increasing their skills as a result of business mentoring, and 3) mid-career professionals mentors accessing relevant content in the form of webinars. MicroMentor Indonesia has created 101,521 engagements through access to various digital training content on cybersecurity toolkits, business development through e-learning, webinars, and mentoring connection.</p> <p>MicroMentor Indonesia plans to expand its community by skilling for over additional 40,000 micro and small businesses/entrepreneurs and 10,000 mid-career professional mentors until August 2023. The program will do this by promoting technological literacy, as well as capacity building and skills development of entrepreneurs and mid-career professionals via mentoring and digital training. Via this methodology, MMI will implement the activities, such as: upgrade the MMI current platform to the global platform; translate content into Bahasa Indonesia, integrate existing services with several digital training contents and business development; including enhance user acquisition strategies through partnership, digital marketing optimization, and community engagement.</p> <p>MicroMentor Indonesia partnership with various stakeholders from relevant organizations in the entrepreneurship ecosystem that has an in-line vision with MicroMentor, such as: sees mentoring as a component for entrepreneur success; support entrepreneurship programs; and support the right audiences such as MSMEs, startup entrepreneurs, and professional / business associations, especially who’s connected to the digital platform. Through the support from its donors, MicroMentor Indonesia can provide a free-of-charge partnership to the partner, unless they need technology enhancement of the existing platform and its services.</p> <h4>General Position Summary </h4> <p>Under the leadership of the Program Coordinator, the Marketing Officer will base in the program location, and responsible for the development of the marketing strategy including digital marketing and conventional marketing of MicroMentor Indonesia. S/he S/he will be responsible to implement and improve the marketing strategy and lead the platform modifications in consultation with the MicroMentor Global team. </p> <p>The position is based in Jakarta and probably requires up to 30% travel depending on need.</p> <p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>The marketing officer will be responsible for:</p> <ul><li>Support the development and modification of the MicroMentor Indonesia platform and assess the UI/UX are contextualization to the targeted participants in consultation with the MicroMentor Global team.</li> <li>Optimize content for the website to drive website traffic and acquire leads.</li> <li>Develop and manage marketing strategies to engage with potential users to increase the number of new users.</li> <li>Develop and manage marketing strategies to engage with existing users to increase the number of mentoring connections.</li> <li>Manage MicroMentor Indonesia's social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn through creating, editing, posting, and promoting the program's products, services, events, and success stories.</li> <li>Creating and executing WhatsApp marketing campaigns.</li> <li>Identify new marketing trends and ensure that the brand is leading in the ecosystem. </li> <li>Evaluate and optimize the strategy of marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media, and display and search advertising, including using web analytics tools, and provide internal reports regularly.</li> <li>Provide support in reporting to the existing stakeholders. S/he will be supporting the development of programs and providing and managing data from partners, including MCI’s entrepreneurship programs which collaborate with MicroMentor Indonesia as scale partners and partners. The current scale partners are two governments and one private sector. The current programs in MCI that MicroMentor Indonesia has created a partnership with are SMILE, BENTANI, SEED for WOMEN, CAMELIA, and SERUNI, which need support in this position.</p> <p><a rel="nofollow"><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities</strong></a></p> <p>MERL Officer will be responsible to implement and improve program MERL in consultation with MCI’s National MEL Coordinator and MicroMentor Global MEL team. S/he will lead the measurement of MicroMentor Indonesia user engagement on several features including business mentoring, digital training contents, and cybersecurity toolkits, and collecting lesson learned for the team to manage the targets and ideal ecosystem. S/he will also monitor program activities and indicator tracking to achieve the program goals in close collaboration with the other team members as well as supporting the development of narrative progress and evaluate report for the program. S/he alsowork closely with in with the MicroMentor global MEL team, and consult National MEL Coordinator in developing and establishing Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Leaning Systems that serve the needs of the program, including: </p> <ul><li>Absorb the current MERL system and work closely with M&amp;E officer of MicroMentor Global and Global Cyber Alliance team to adapt it to Indonesia context.</li> <li>Translate, adapt, and pilot current monitoring and evaluation tools as well as adapt (and design) the corresponding data collection procedures.</li> <li>Support the development and refinement of the MicroMentor Indonesia MEL Plan including Result Framework, Logical Framework, Indicator Plan and Program Participants tracking plan.
