Background:

Indonesia’s overall development has resulted in an enabling environment for Indonesia’s disaster management agencies to be independent, responsive, proactive, and able to prepare and respond to disasters in a way that reduces adverse impacts.

General Position Summary

Under the guidance of INVEST DM 2.0. Chief of Party, the Senior Knowledge Management, Communications, and Research Specialist (SKMCR Specialist)  is responsible for leading and coordinating the development of knowledge management products, communications materials, and dissemination to target audiences, action, and policy research implemented an/or commissioned as well as analysis of program performances, intermediate results, and impacts contributing to program reporting.

General Position Summary

The Senior Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) Specialist will design and implement a strategy to ensure the INVEST DM 2.0 and other MCI programs appropriately addresses the varied needs of women, men, girls, and boys, and are sensitive to gender, age, caste, disability, and other social markers. Although the Senior GESI specialist will work primarily for INVEST DM 2, time and need permitting, s/he will support other YMCI programs.

General Position Summary

Under the direction of DRM Manager, the Senior Program Officer is responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of INVEST DM 2.0 Intermediate Outcome 4: BNPB has the capacity to develop effective systems and strategies to support the sub-national government to implement Minimum Service Standard on Disaster Management (MSS-DM).

The position will be based in Jakarta (at the BNPB). Travel is required with up to 20% of her/his time expected to be spent at sub-national level.

General Position Summary

The INVEST DM 2.0 Operations Coordinator is a member of the Jakarta-INVEST DM 2.0  management team and reports directly to Chief of Party. S/he oversees and coordinates the Jakarta-INVEST DM 2.0  operations and support team which includes the procurement of the local consultants and national resource persons facilitators. S/he ensures the operational support and services provided to the INVEST DM 2.0  program is compliant, quality controlled, strategic, and responsive to the needs of the program.

General Position Summary

Under the guidance of INVEST DM 2.0  Chief of Party, the INVEST DM 2.0 Monitoring Evaluation & Learning Specialist is responsible for coordinating with consortium counterparts on the M&E system development/review to implement the program. The MEL Specialist oversees the monitoring and evaluation of the program, including development/review of MEL tools and plans, baseline and end-line survey, beneficiary and indicator tracking, data compilation and participatory analysis, contribution to reports and preparation of communication materials.
