Mastercard builds on COVID-19 response with commitment to connect 1 billion people to the digital economy by 2025

"In this time of crisis, Mastercard has expanded its worldwide commitment to financial inclusion by pledging to bring a total of 1 billion people and 50 million micro and small businesses into the digital economy by 2025. As part of this effort, there will be a direct focus on providing 25 million women entrepreneurs with solutions that can help them grow their businesses.

Under the leadership of the Program Coordinator, The Finance, administration and Operation Officer Will base in Humbang Hasundutan District and responsible to finance, administration and operation issues in Humbang Hasundutan office.

This position will be temporary staff until end of February 2021.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Finance

Under the leadership of the Program Coordinator, The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer will base in Humbang Hasundutan and responsible to support the development of program’s MEL system, including strategies and tools for measurement, data management protocol, and evidence-based learning and decision making. The MEL Officer will responsible to implement and improve program MEL in consultation with National MEL Coordinator.

Program Officer will support Program Coordinator COVID-19 response activities in the field, in collaboration with other team member, POWER 2’s District Coordinator and MCI partner (PKPU - HI), as well as local stakeholder, such Humbang Hasundutan Government Agencies, local community groups (particularly coffee farmer groups), formal financial institutions, radio stations, etc.

Humanitarian and Resilience (H&R) Director leads Yayasan Mercy Corps Indonesia’s (YMCI) portfolio of programs working in critical areas of emergency response, DRR, and climate change. The Director supervises program managers, provides technical leadership and coordinates with YMCI’s external stakeholders. S/he collaborates with the larger community of MCG technical and management experts to ensure the YMCI’s programming is informed by best practices drawn from the most successful approaches globally.

COVID-19 Resilience for Coffee Farmers’ Communities is a program that operates primarily in Humbang Hasundutan Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, to build an initiative to support the specific needs of coffee farmers’ communities, leveraging existing resources, partnerships and government interventions related to COVID-19 response. In partnership with a Private Foundation, Mercy Corps Indonesia will impact a minimum of 10,000 people in/around coffee farmers’ communities through community outreach and communications on prevention and direct support for communities.

Segala sarana dan prasarana penunjang kehidupan dan rotasi perekonomian tidak berfungsi. Banyak masyarakat yang kehilangan mata pencarian termasuk petani. Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Sulawesi Tengah mengungkapkan terdapat 7.000 petani terdampak oleh rusaknya areal persawahan seluas 7.356 hektar di Palu, Sigi dan Donggala yang diakibatkan oleh rusaknya irigasi Gumbasa.
